The Last Fishermen

For generations the Dutch rivers held so much fish, hundreds of fishermen worked on these waters.
Today only a father and son are active on their boat.

“I cannot imagine something better than being on the water the whole week together with my son,” says Father Frans Komen.

For a period over more than five years, Michael Rhebergen has followed these men.
This projects sheds light into a world that was being thought of as extinct.
